President and Founder
Clay Mason
Clay Mason, a Gulf War Navy veteran and Hunterdon County resident, founded the Shido Foundation after earning his history degree through studies in China, Korea, and Japan. He now channels his passion for cross-cultural understanding into reducing homelessness locally, funding full high-school scholarships for young women in rural Kenya, and supporting vital school upgrades in Nepal—driven by his belief that education and shelter can transform communities.
